Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Tu Casa Interiors. By placing an order and formulating requests for products and services from Tu Casa Interiors you unconditionally agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for your records.

To order goods through the Tu Casa Interiors Ltd website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months. Should your purchased item develop a manufacturers fault within twelve months of your date of purchase we shall either replace or repair it as we deem most appropriate. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse and general wear and tear.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item(s) to us in it's original condition by giving us written notice (fax, letter or email) within 2 days of receiving your delivery*. It is your responsibility to return the item to us, however we can arrange this for you on request, & will charge you the cost of the return. *Please note: This does not apply to made to order items. (see below)
We will issue a full refund within 21 days of receiving the item back into our possession, or exchange the item for a different size / colour / or item of same value if preferred provided the following conditions are met;
(A) All items must be returned unused and in a re-saleable, 'as new' condition to our warehouse or showroom;
(B) They must be returned in their full original packaging;
We reserve the right to reject returned item(s), or to deduct an amount to compensate for any repair, restocking or recovery costs if the above conditions are not met.

4.Made to Order Items
Items which are bespoke, or have had any customization in size, colour, finish or composition are none refundable. An item that has been ordered in a specific colour & produced by the manufacturer specifically for you is classified as a made to order item.

5.Faulty Items
We recommend that you inspect your goods as soon as they arrive. If the item you received has any transport damage or fault please notify us by writing (email to info@tucasainteriors.com or a letter) within 48 hours of receipt quoting your order reference number, your name and address, details of the product and fault, and we will contact you to arrange a resolution.
We will require a photograph of any damage to assist in our resolution process. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return (if required).
For products that were made to order we will usually need to order in a replacement (part) which may take up to 8 weeks, however you may be able to use the piece you have received until the replacement arrives. Please check with us first, however, as this is not always possible for technical reasons.
If the product is a stock item and there is a problem we will make it right within 21 days of your receipt, provided we are notified within 48 hours of receipt.

6.Self Assembly
For self assembly products it is important that you read the assembly instructions carefully as we cannot accept responsibility for any self-assembly goods that are damaged because instructions were not properly followed.
Before assembling any self assembly furniture please ensure that all parts have been inspected and if there is any damage to the product do not commence any assembly and notify us of the situation.
We reserve the right to reject return of items where assembly has been undertaken, or to deduct an amount to compensate for any repair, restocking or recovery costs.

Cancellation or amendment of an order is possible in the first 7 days of placing an order providing the goods are not made to order items that have been entered into production by the manufacturer. Only order if you are sure that the item and finish is right for your needs as you will not be able to change the order after the item has been entered into production. Tu Casa Interiors has no liability for items ordered that a customer no longer requires. Once an order has been processed the customer is liable to purchase the item/s.

7.Delivery Times
Delivery of stock items will normally be made within 7-10 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

8.Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses suffered by you if we do not supply the goods.

9.Delivery Access
It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you order can be delivered into your property and that there is safe and reasonable access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If our delivery staff consider that the access is unsafe then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided. You are obliged to provide any required parking permits in advance of the delivery.
If you have any doubts that the furniture will fit up stairways, through doors or any awkward or restrictive spaces it is vital that you notify us at the time of placing your order. In particular, mattress slats are made as standard in one 200cm x 160cm or 180cm piece & do not fit through smaller access spaces. Please contact us on 01543 577 669 if you have concerns, as we can arrange for slats to be split into two parts for an extra cost.

10.Product Information
We have collated the product specifications, images and other information published on our website from information provided by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, or gathered from public-domain sources. At Tu Casa Interiors Ltd we endeavour to ensure this information is as accurate and up to date as possible however we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

11.Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stated at the time when you place your order and confirmed in our order acknowledgement. If the price published for the goods is wrong due to an error or omission Tu Casa Interiors Ltd is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price. Instead we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT

12.Delivery Charges
Delivery is free on all furniture orders & fragile accessories over 750 to destinations in mainland England & Wales (mainland Scotland 1500). To ensure goods are received and presented in their optimum condition the majority of our furniture and fragile accessories will be delivered and assembled in your premises by Tu Casa Interiors staff. Certain items of furniture that we consider suitable will be delivered by third party carriers and may require easy assembly.

For furniture orders below the thresholds specified above a charge of 0.45 per mile from our warehouse at WS11 1DB in Cannock to the delivery address will be levied. The mileage will be calculated using an agreed route planning web-site (example - delivery to Wembley Stadium, Greater London - 126.8 miles x 0.45 = 57.06 delivery charge).

Unless otherwise specified on the product page delivery of rugs, cushions and non-fragile accessories is free on all orders over 150 to mainland UK destinations. These goods will normally be despatched by third party carriers. Below the 150 threshold a flat rate 7.95 delivery charge will be levied.

On confirming your order our customer service staff will advise the proposed means of delivery and the cost of delivery if the order value is below the specified thresholds. When goods are ready to be despatched our logistics staff will contact you to arrange delivery and, where applicable, take payment from you for the pre - agreed delivery charge
